May your Halloween be truly Enchanted!
Peace be with you, my friends! I am in the midst of one of the most chaotic yet wonderful times of the year for any spiritual worker. I absolutely love the week of Halloween, All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day. It is a euphoric stretch of many spiritual and social gatherings in which I barely have a moment to catch my breath, yet don’t mind at all, since it is really that wonderful. I am still taking orders for my service that begins on the 30th, so if you are interested, please drop me an email. I will be back in November with some photos after things calm down a bit. May your Halloween be truly enchanted and as the the veil is lifted between our world and the spirit world may abundant blessings rain down on you!
Thank You Saint Martha Yet Again!
Peace be with you my friends! October has been an insanely busy month and I don’t anticipate the hectic schedule will slow down any time before All Souls Day. You may have noticed that I have a new website up and running. This is the culmination for several months of collaborative work between myself and my web-designer and friend Amy Marie Adams. Please take the time to visit her site and contact her for your web design and programming needs. I can attest to the fact that she does quality work quickly and explains every step up of the way for those of us who are not so computer literate.
Saint Martha is absolutely my favorite and most special patron saint.
Also, I wanted just again to sing the praises of Saint Martha who has recently helped me accomplish a long time goal. She is absolutely my favorite and most special patron saint. I keep an altar to her in my home and often place candles, oil lamps and flowers in front of her icon. I strongly urge you to start a devotion to her and spread the word about her powerful intercession. The simplest and most traditional means of bringing your needs to this miraculous saint is to perform her novena that is carried out every Tuesday by reciting the prayer below and lighting a candle to her. You of course can pray in your own words, but I’ve included the traditional prayer as a guide. Eventually you may may consider purchasing an icon or small statue of her to keep in your home.
St. Martha Novena
Saint Martha,
I resort to thy aid and protection.
As proof of my affection and faith,
I offer thee this light,
which I shall burn every Tuesday.Comfort me in all my difficulties
and through the great favors thou didst enjoy
when the Savior was lodged in thy house,
intercede for my family,
that we be provided for in our necessities.(Mention your request her)
I ask of thee, Saint Martha,
to overcome all difficulties
as thou didst overcome the dragon
which thou hadst at thy feet.In the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.Amen
Now recite the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.
I hope you decide to put this novena to use and seek the blessing of the beautiful and powerful Saint Martha. Now I must get back to work preparing for Halloween, All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days. Remember this is the most second most powerful time of the year to do spiritual work, St. John’s Night is of course the most powerful, so any spiritual worker is for sure running around crazy busy these last days of October. Once things calm down in November, I will be back with photos of all these autumnal festivities. Until then I wish you peace and blessings and say with heartfelt gratitude Thank You Saint Martha Always!!!

Meditation: Opening the Third Eye
The third eye is a chakra, through which the spiritual energy of the universe flows into your body.
I want to share with you a brief meditation that will assist you in opening your third eye and allow you to begin the process of utilizing your psychic abilities, which every human being possesses but may be blocked due to self doubt or social conditioning. The Third Eye is a term used in new age circles that comes from ancient Indian mysticism. Literally it means the point in the center of your forehead, a chakra, through which the spiritual energy of the universe flows into your body. You may wish to take a salt water bath as a form of spiritual cleansing before performing this exercise. The following meditation is meant to open your psychic eye. You may practice this meditation as often as you’d like. In fact, it would be helpful to do so at least once a day in the beginning as you first start to get in touch with and understand your psychic abilities.
I like to do this meditation in the late evenings before going to sleep. I find that I sleep peacefully and have the most beautiful dreams afterwards.
Lie on your back in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and begin to take deep, even breaths. As you breathe in, imagine a calming blue mist entering your body and a red mist being exhaled. This represents all the stress, anxiety and unhappiness of the day leaving you and being replaced by peaceful, soothing, calm energy. Repeat at least 10 times or longer if desired, until you are in a state of peaceful relaxation.
Next imagine a blue light starting to form at the top of your head, your crown chakra. The light grows and slowly travels down your body relaxing and soothing every part of your body that it touches. Continue all the way down to your feet until your entire body is bathed in this relaxing blue light.
Next imagine a golden light beaming out from the center of your forehead. This represents the third eye, the portal that connects you to the universe, to all that is holy, sacred, good and powerful. Imagine that light beaming out into the universe connecting you to the cosmos, claiming for you your birthright to see beyond the veil of the physical world and reach the full capacity of your psychic potential. Ask the universe that your third eye be opened, that you wish to receive the gift of full psychic sight.
Pay attention to any imagines that appear in your mind’s eye. It’s fine if you see nothing as well, the point is to open yourself up to the psychic experience.
When you feel you’ve meditated and communed with the universe for as long as you’d like, count from 1 to 10. Tell yourself that as you count up will you will become more and more alert and awake. By the time you reach 10, your eyes will be open and you will be fully awake.
After this exercise you will certainly feel peaceful, happy and deeply relaxed. You will almost certainly notice your powers of perception greatly improve and ever more so if you practice this meditation regularly.
If you decide to try this meditation, please share your experiences with me!
Until next time, I wish you peace and abundant blessings!
