The apple has long been a symbol of love, desire and temptation. In French, candy apples are called Pommes d’amour or “love apples.”  This particular spell has been around at least since the 1970’s, but I suspect that it is much older based on the use of ancient ingredients and symbolism.

 

 

 

 

 

You will need:

A large apple

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Honey

3 Cloves

One small pink taper candle

 

Carve a hole into the top of the apple as deep as possible without breaking the apple.  

Into the hole add a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, a drop of honey and the three cloves.

Fix the candle into the apple like you would a candle holder.  

Place the apple on your home altar or by a window and light the candle. 

Sit for a few minutes and meditate on drawing a specific person into your life or drawing the ideal partner.

Allow the candle to burn out on its own and the next day dispose of the apple somewhere in nature.
